How much does a wedding DJ cost with DJ Hooded Wolf?
Wedding packages start at $1,800 for reception only and $2,200 for full-day coverage (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception). Both are flat rates with no hourly or overtime charges. See the full pricing sheet for add-ons.
Do you also MC?
Yes. Every wedding package includes DJ and MC services: introductions, announcements, and keeping the timeline on track.
What areas do you serve?
I'm based in Collingswood, NJ, just outside Philadelphia, and DJ weddings and events all over New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, Maryland and Washington, DC. South Jersey and the Philadelphia area are home base, but I'm happy to travel.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Only for venues more than about an hour and a half from Collingswood. In that case the fee simply covers one night of lodging near your venue, and it typically comes in under $500.
What kinds of events do you DJ?
Weddings, corporate events, private parties and milestone celebrations, plus bar and nightclub residencies.
How do I book my date?
Request a quote to check availability. A $700 nonrefundable retainer and a signed agreement reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better. Some couples book me as far as two years before their wedding date.
What if we need to change our date?
Your retainer is nonrefundable, but it can be applied to a new date within two years if I'm available.
How early do you arrive to set up?
Usually at least two hours before guests arrive.
What do you need from the venue?
A 6x6 ft space and one dedicated 15-20 amp outlet within 50 feet of the setup. Most venues are already set up for this.
Can we request songs?
Absolutely. You'll get your own personalized planning app to build your must-play, do-not-play and special-moment songs, and I'm always happy to take requests live while I'm mixing.
Do you offer photo booths and lighting?
Yes. Photo booths (including 360 and glam booths), uplighting, cold sparks, dancing on the clouds, CO2 effects and more are available as add-ons.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, Venmo, PayPal and CashApp.
